ABOUT US

Dr. Laura Brescia

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Dr. Laura Brescia has been practicing dentistry in Calgary for six years and is happy to call this city home. She did her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Victoria and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario. She is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and College, the Canadian Dental Association and the Calgary and District Dental Society. Education is very important to Dr. Brescia and she is continually taking courses to advance her knowledge of dentistry and clinical skills.

Dr. Brescia is known for her gentle and caring manner with patients. Patients find her very approachable and friendly. Many patients who have been nervous about dental work in the past have been surprised to find themselves comfortable and relaxed with Dr. Brescia. As a mother of three young children, she has a special affinity for working with children and their families.

In her spare time Dr. Brescia enjoys running, skiing, gardening, camping and hiking in the mountains with her family.
